LBS Sloan Fellow recognised for outstanding cultural achievements
A Sloan Fellow from London Business School will receive The Oman Ambassador in UK award for outstanding achievement.
Aadil AL-Saadi, a Sloan Fellow, Msc in Leadership and Strategy from London Business School, will receive the award which is granted by the Omani Embassy in the UK, tomorrow, during the 45th National Day Ceremony in Swansea on 21 November, under the patronage of His Excellency the Omani Ambassador to the United Kingdom.
AL-Saadi says: “I am honoured to receive this award, and to represent Oman.
“I enjoyed the cultural diversity at London Business School, and I am thrilled to promote the Omani culture among the London Business School community. This award, in addition to the business network I have established, has inspired me to unlock my potential to become an entrepreneur.”
AL-Saadi, who is the first Omani to join the Sloan Masters in Leadership and Strategy programme at London Business School, receives the award in recognition of activities representing Oman at the School, including OmanFEAT.
OmanFEAT, organised by AL-Saadi, will see 12 Sloan fellows visit Oman between 18 and 24 December for a cultural and business exchange.
More than 3,000 Omani students in the UK competed for the award, which is granted on an annual basis to recognize outstanding achievements by Omani students who promote the Omani culture in the UK.
AL-Saadi is due to graduate from the Sloan programme early next year.
