London Business School sets new Guinness World Records title

Record celebrates diversity and community across the School

LBS achieves a new Guinness World Record 482x271

Students, faculty and staff at London Business School have set a new Guinness World Records title for the most nationalities in a simultaneous popular music sing-along.

More than 200 students, faculty and staff of 71 nationalities from around the world took part in the attempt, in which they simultaneously sang the popular song ‘Imagine’ by John Lennon. Participants dressed in their home country traditional dress.

Organised by London Business School’s Student Association, the Guinness World Records title celebrates community and diversity across the School.

Tarana Shivdasani, Social Affairs Officer, Student Association, London Business School, says: “Our Guinness World Records title showcases the diversity of the London Business School community and our communal spirit; we are truly privileged to be members of a community that inspires all of us to be ambitious and push boundaries.”

The new Guinness World Records title was verified by a Guinness World Records adjudicator and independent stewards, who were onsite at London Business School to monitor the world record attempt.
