Sir Andrew Likierman, Dean, London Business School, has been named in the London Evening Standard’sThe Progress 1000’ list for 2015.

‘The Progress 1000’ list celebrates the most influential people in London across a number of fields; from politicians to journalists and academics to artists. The list celebrates those who “make the capital a world-class wonder”.

Sir Andrew Likierman has been named in the ‘Thinkers: Academia’ category.

Professor Likierman says: “London Business School mirrors London – we are a buzzy, energetic part of a buzzy, energetic city. And while many cities (and business schools) claim to be global, London’s rich variety of nationalities justifies the claim. So too does London Business School, with nationalities of 100 plus for students, 60 plus for staff and 30 plus for faculty. We’re proud to be recognised as one of London’s world class education institutions.”

Sir Andrew was the Founding Director of the Executive MBA programme at London Business School and has been a Professor at the School for many years, lecturing on all the major executive and degree programmes. He was previously Chairman of the National Audit Office and has also been a non-executive director of the Bank of England.
