LBS welcomes its latest Masters in Finance cohorts

179 full and part-time MiF students join London Business School

London Business School Full-time Masters in Finance Class of 2026

London Business School (LBS) has welcomed 179 Masters in Finance (MiF) students to the LBS community as 134 full-time students and 45 part-time students came together during Orientation week to celebrate the start of the new school year.

The full-time MiF cohort comprises 47 different nationalities, with students having an average age of 29 and six years’ work experience on average.

Students on the part-time programme hail from 28 nationalities and have an average age of 31 years and eight years of work experience.

Masters in Finance Programme Director Libby Wood said:

“As we embark on a new academic year, I am delighted to welcome our newest Masters in Finance cohorts to London Business School. This year’s classes are incredibly diverse, bringing a wealth of global experience that will enrich the learning environment. This programme is more than an academic pursuit; it is a gateway to becoming future leaders in the finance industry and over the next one to two years, our students will have the opportunity to forge meaningful connections, expand their knowledge, and refine their skills.

“At London Business School, our mission is to challenge our students, to think globally and empower them to transform the way the world does business. Through engaging classes, exclusive events, extensive networking opportunities, and a wealth of resources, we strive to ensure that our students are well-prepared for their future roles and the impact they will have on their organisations and the world around them.

“Our students are joining the programme at a pivotal moment. Thirty years ago, we welcomed our first MiF cohorts, and in 2024, the school will celebrate a major milestone – its 60th anniversary. The alumni communities that have grown over the years are invaluable so whether students choose to stay in London, return to their home countries, or pursue new international opportunities after completing the programme, they will always be connected to the London Business School network and never far from an LBS friend.”
