Zhen Ren Teo, President of London Business School’s Student Association and Fernanda Camilo Aquiar, a member of LBS’s Women In Business Executive Committee have been chosen by Poets & Quants as two of the Best & Brightest MBA students in the global MBA Class of 2025.

For the 11th year running, Poets & Quants has searched for exemplary MBA students – the leaders who rally; the mentors who champion; the visionaries who awaken; and the volunteers who shoulder the heaviest burdens – to feature in its ‘Best & Brightest’ series. Zhen and Fernanda were chosen to feature in P&Q’s100 Best & Brightest MBAs: Class of 2025’ because of their strong academic, extracurricular, and professional achievements.

Besides presiding over the Student Association, Zhen has been an active member of the LBS governing body, co-founded the LBS Southeast Asia Club and used his sporting prowess to inspire others. Three key contributions stand out as part of his leadership: 1) he launched the Student Association Dubai Chapter, strengthening the sense of community and engagement for students at LBS’s Dubai campus; 2) he successfully organised LBS’s inaugural ‘Battle of the Streams’, a large-scale sporting event bringing together over 800 students; and 3) he led LBS to victory at MBAT, the prestigious MBA Olympics which brings together top European business schools in a celebration of sportsmanship and teamwork.

Fernanda, holder of a UK Global Talent Visa for Digital Technology, is an established leader in FinTech and product management. Besides juggling a startup, an internship and coaching other students hoping to land Technology and FinTech careers, she has also found time to excel academically and play an active role in the LBS student community. She led the 2024 EQUALL conference speakers team, and also helped to organise the 2024 LBS Tech and Media conference, as well as the London Fintech Festival. Fernanda embodies the very best of LBS students in continually challenging herself, setting her own ambitious targets, and working with enviable tenacity at all times.
