LBS MBA students among Poets & Quants' Best & Brightest

For the ninth year running, Poets & Quants has searched for exemplary MBA students with strong academic, extracurricular, and professional achievements – students with high potential, rare intangibles and compelling personal stories – to feature in its ‘Best & Brightest’ series. Year on year, London Business School (LBS) students feature, and this year Julia Hamilton and Cameron Martin feature in P&Q’s 100 Best & Brightest MBAs: Class of 2023.

Julia and Cameron were selected from 235 nominations from 74 full-time MBA programmes to be part of the 100 MBA students profiled for their achievements. They follow in the footsteps of James Cochrane-Dyet MBA2022 and Naveen Kler MBA2022 who were profiled as part of last year’s series.

Both are scholars passionate about advocacy and empowering others to flourish, with Julia describing herself as a “sarcastic, loving New Yorker focused on uplifting & advocating for LGBTQ+ people to create positive change” and Cameron describing himself as an “equity champion, working to level the playing field and create opportunity”.

Their ability to create change and move the needle for progress forward is amply demonstrated by their leading role in the creation of the EUROUT Scholarship, which was launched this year by the Out in Business Club and is the first scholarship funded and founded by a student club at London Business School. The scholarship will support future LGBTQ+ students, empowering the next generation of LGBTQ+ leaders to receive a world-class education at LBS.
