LBS MBA named world’s best two-year international programme
School retains top spot in Forbes's biennial ranking of MBA programmes
London Business School’s (LBS) Masters in Business Administration (MBA) has been named the world’s best two-year international MBA by Forbes.
The business publication’s biennial ranking of MBA programmes measures graduates’ return on investment (ROI) by calculating their "five-year MBA gain". The metric reflects total earnings across five years post-graduation - minus the cost of fees, tuition and forgone compensation - versus expected earnings without an MBA.
LBS’s “five-year MBA gain” is $US93,100, according to Forbes. The figure represents the highest ROI among two-year international MBA programmes.
Gareth Howells, Executive Director of the School’s MBA programme, said the ranking confirmed the ongoing value of an LBS education.
“The LBS MBA continues to offer students a strong return on their investment,” he said.
“Our graduates leave us with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in business. This latest result reflects not only this exceptional learning experience, but the significant value employers place on it.”
LBS’s MBA programme has topped Forbes's two-year international MBA ranking for the past six surveys.
