London Business School (LBS) has welcomed a new member of the LBS community – the LBS Lion, the School’s first official mascot.

The LBS Lion was designed by a dedicated Taskforce within the School’s Student Association, led by student designer Attina Zhang MBA2026. The team worked with fellow students and LBS leadership to develop a design that can be a source of pride for the LBS community.

Notably, the mascot draws inspiration from the iconic lion sculpture outside the Old Marylebone Town Hall, which is part of the School’s state-of-the art Sammy Ofer Centre building in London.

Two versions of the mascot have been developed:

  • A sleek, professional logo which symbolises excellence, agility and global impact

  • A warm plushie version which is available to purchase now.

A big thank you to the taskforce members for bringing our Lion to life!
