LBS faculty to edit top tier journal

Professor of Finance at London Business School (LBS) Anna Pavlova will serve as an Editor for The Review of Financial Studies.

One of the world’s leading finance journals, The Review of Financial Studies publishes rigorous research in the field of financial economics. Papers are evaluated on their quality and significance.

Professor Pavlova said she was honoured to contribute to the journal’s future.

“The Review of Financial Studies has a proud history of publishing the latest insights and research from the field of financial economics, and its impact is regularly felt far beyond academic circles. As an incoming Editor, it is a privilege to be able to help share some of the most important work being undertaken in finance today.”

Professor Pavlova’s appointment was announced at The Society for Financial Studies’ (SFS) Cavalcade North America 2023 conference in Austin, Texas. Her three-year term will begin on 1 July 2023.

Professor Pavlova’s research with LBS PhD candidate Taisiya Sikorskaya on ‘Benchmarking Intensity’ was published by The Review of Financial Studies earlier this year.
