Associate Professor of Organisational Behaviour scoops award
Niro Sivanathan, Associate Professor of Organisational Behaviour, London Business School, has been named one of Poets & Quants magazine’s ‘Best 40 Under 40’ MBA professors.
The list recognises international ‘rising star’ faculty from global business schools. Sivanathan was nominated by students and alumni from London Business School.
Sivanathan says: “It is a privilege to have the opportunity to teach such high-calibre students at London Business School. This recognition is an added bonus and I am honoured.”
37-year-old Sivanathan has been teaching at the School since 2008. His research looks at the psychology of the self and how it influences decision-making, including the effects of power and status on judgement and behaviour.
Sivanathan’s students credit his ‘direct, no-nonsense teaching style, which combines his personal touch and humour.’
He was previously awarded a Best Teacher Award for MBAs at London Business School in 2014.
Sivanathan currently teaches the Negotiation and Bargaining course on London Business School’s MBA programme. He also teaches on two Executive Education programmes: Leading Teams for Emerging Leaders and Leading Change.
