According to the Cigna 360° Global Well-Being Survey 2022, 98 per cent of surveyed audiences in the UAE have experienced at least one symptom of burnout versus 94 per cent globally, as reported in a recent article on Zawya.com. The same article reported that UAE employees have complained of stress and/or burnout due to longer working hours.

London Business School’s Clinical Professor of Organisational Behaviour Ben Hardy, who has studied stress and its effects on people, spoke to Helen Farmer of Dubai Eye’s Helen Farmer Show recently about the causes of stress and how to manage them.
