LBS appoints new Associate Dean for Advancement

Emily joins LBS from INSEAD where she is currently the Senior Director of Development in the Advancement team. She has an extensive history in fundraising and development, having previously filled senior roles at The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, Bryn Mawr College and the American School of Paris. Emily started at INSEAD in 2019 and has been part of the leadership of the school’s Force for Good campaign.
The Associate Dean for Advancement works closely with the Dean of LBS, to serve the School’s global network of alumni on its learning journey, creating value for all members of the community and inspiring philanthropic giving to the School’s major fundraising campaign, Forever Forward.
Martin Fewell, Chief Engagement Officer at LBS said:
“We’re delighted to have attracted somebody of Emily’s calibre to lead an Advancement team that enables LBS to fulfil its ambitions by inspiring and connecting our community to promote advocacy and philanthropy. Under her leadership, our major five-year fundraising campaign, Forever Forward, will enable LBS to achieve a transformation that amplifies our profound impact and builds a sustainable funding model to support our progress in the future.”
Emily Robin said:
“The London Business School community is united by a powerful sense of purpose – to profoundly impact the way the world does business and the way business impacts the world – and the work of the Advancement team to engage alumni and supporters is central to this project. I am thrilled and honoured to join LBS to lead the dedicated team doing this through the Forever Forward campaign and beyond.”
The Advancement team is part of the Engagement Department at LBS, under the Chief Engagement Officer. The department also includes Brand and Marketing and Communications.
Emily Robin is due to start at LBS at the beginning of 2024.
