LBS alumni appointed to new Conservative cabinet

LBS graduates David Davis and Justine Greening have been appointed to the new Conservative cabinet by Prime Minister Theresa May

David Davis, who graduated from London Business School with an MSc (1973), has been appointed Secretary of State for Exiting the EU. Davis, who has previously held positions including Conservative Party Chairman and Shadow Deputy Prime Minister, will lead Britain’s EU exit negotiations.

Justine Greening, who graduated from the School with an Executive MBA (2000), has been appointed Education Secretary. She has also been appointed as Minister for Women and Equalities. Previously International Development Secretary, Greening takes over from Nicky Morgan.

The appointments come as Theresa May forms her new government after taking office as the new Conservative Prime Minister.
