Tara Reddy (MBA 2016) has been named one of the 100 most influential women in tech.

Reddy was selected by a panel of judges for inclusion on the 2018 TechWomen100 list for her work at LoveShark, an augmented reality (AR) app maker. The company, which Reddy co-founded in 2018, has since published Laser Draw, a social drawing app.

Prior to LoveShark, Reddy spent two years product managing innovative AR reality apps including two AR social networks at Blippar, which she joined after interning at two startups during her MBA with London Business School (LBS).

Before LBS, Reddy founded a specialist exotic pet veterinary service in Wellington, New Zealand.

“Five years ago I was working as a veterinarian in New Zealand,” said Reddy. “After six years as a clinician, I wasn't sure what my career options were. My MBA was a way to explore opportunities, broaden my skills and make the move into tech. Now I've founded an augmented reality games startup and it's great to be recognised for this career leap.”

The TechWomen100 Awards is run by WeAreTechWomen, an initiative set up by events and recruitment company WeAreTheCity that promotes female representation in tech industries.
