LBS achieves EY National Equality Standard accreditation

London Business School (LBS) has broken new ground in achieving the National Equality Standard (NES). The NES is the UK’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) standard, developed in 2012 by EY in partnership with the UK Government.

LBS’ policies and practices relating to diversity, inclusion and belonging were assessed against 35 competencies contained within the NES framework. In April 2023, the School was successful in achieving the NES accreditation and awarded a level 4 out of 5 ranking in DEI maturity. This level is only granted to organisations with the ‘highest levels of DEI proficiency’.

Sendil Ethiraj, Deputy Dean (Faculty) and Chair of LBS’ Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging Advisory Board, says:

“We welcome diverse talent from across the globe. We are committed to being a community where everyone is respected for who they are, and where all can belong and thrive in line with our School policies and behaviours.”
