Major Chinese company recruits global talent from London Business School
Fosun International, mainland China’s largest privately-owned conglomerate, is recruiting from London Business School’s global talent pool.
As the Chinese giant aims to increase its global reach, they identified London Business School, with students from over 130 countries, as a source of top talent.
Mr Xinjun Liang, CEO of Fosun International visited the School and made a donation of books on Chinese business and culture. Addressing an audience of students, Mr Liang spoke of the importance of recruiting talented graduates.
“With Fosun heading overseas,” he said, “recruiting global talent from top business schools is a great opportunity to support the vision of the company.”
China is a key market for London Business School and Richard Bland, Associate Director of Career Services commented: “We expect China will be at the heart of the world’s growth story over the next two decades and it is a testament to the quality of our student body, to the global reputation of London Business School and to the ambition of Fosun that they have chosen this School to search for its future leaders.”
Fosun International, listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, was co-founded by Mr Liang and three other graduates of Fudan University 20 years ago in Shanghai. As a leading entrepreneur of his generation in China, Mr Liang is on the Forbes World’s Billionaires list and was named “Chinese Business Leader of the Year” at the 7th Horasis Global China Business Meeting in Spain last November.
