LBS alumni in Dubai prepare to be ‘Fit for the Future’
More than 200 alumni and current students met in Dubai for the new Dean’s first Worldwide Alumni Celebration outside London.

François Ortalo-Magné said: “My wife Sondra and I were blown away by the warm welcome we received in the region. It was a privilege to meet so many engaged and committed alumni and students. Our School has been teaching in the region for a decade. I asked what can we learn from the region, and what should we be celebrating in 10 years’ time?”
LBS Governing Body Chairman, The Hon Apurv Bagri, warmly welcomed guests to the event and highlighted the importance of the region for the School.
Julian Birkinshaw, Professor of Strategy and Entrepreneurship and author of Fast/Forward: Make Your Company Fit for the Future shared key insights for organisations and individuals keen to increase their impact.
This is a special year as LBS Dubai celebrates its 10th anniversary. To round off the year-long celebrations, His Excellency Dr Ahmad bin Abdullah Humaid Belhoul Al Falasi, Minister of State for Higher Education, UAE, and Chairman of the UAE Space Agency, will be ‘In Conversation’ with Andrew Scott, Professor of Economics, at the crowning event on 12 December in Dubai.
