EQUALL, Europe’s leading forum for the next generation of leaders envisaging a world where women are unlimited in their ability to achieve their greatest potential, is back for the 23rd year and over 300 attendees will be welcomed to the London Business School campus on Friday, 24 February 2023.
Angela Cretu, CEO of Avon and LBS alumna, will be the opening keynote in a fireside chat moderated by Ria Savla, LBS MBA2023 and Co-President of the LBS Entrepreneurship Club, about ‘Going Beyond: Authentic Leadership & Growing Into Your True Self’. She will provide insight into key elements of her life and career and talk about authenticity, mentorship and what it means to be a partner. She will also offer her views on the theme of this year’s conference ‘Beyond Barriers’ and provide advice to women who are rising in their careers.
There will also be a closing fireside chat with journalist, writer and social entrepreneur Elizabeth Filippouli. She will talk to LBS MBA2023 Christine Tran, Co-Chair of EQUALL and member of the Women in Business Club Executive Committee, about her life and career, touching on themes including innovation, social impact, the power of networks, and empowering each other through storytelling. She will offer advice on how we can reimagine our societies through building bridges and how the next generation of leaders can bring about meaningful change in their workplaces and beyond.
EQUALL 2023 – the largest conference about gender empowerment in the workplace hosted by a European business school – will also see a wide array of distinguished speakers across panels, workshops, and breakout sessions reflect on topics of importance to the gender equality debate, including discussions about the empowerment of women’s voices and allyship. Personal stories of leadership development and growth, and the challenges faced by the speakers, will be discussed along with practical advice about ways that individuals and organisations can promote gender equity and achieve a reality Beyond Barriers.
Comedian Tamsyn Kelly will bring her unique take to the event with a comedy turn, and the day will be rounded off with drinks and networking courtesy of sponsors Accenture and OC&C Strategy Consultants.
