Demand from employers for students who graduated with a London Business School (LBS) Graduate Masters degree in 2023 remains strong, with 92% of students across the Masters in Analytics and Management (MAM), Masters in Management (MiM), and Masters in Financial Analysis (MFA) programmes receiving an offer of employment within three months of graduation. Of those, 90% accepted their job offers according to the School’s latest Graduate Masters employment reports.

Some 62 nationalities were represented across the three programmes, which saw a total of 529 students accepting job offers across 25 countries.

According to the School’s Career Centre, 93% of MAM graduates, 92% of MiM graduates and 90% of the MFA cohort seeking employment received a job offer within three months of graduation. Of those, 91% of MAM and MiM graduates and 90% of MFA graduates accepted their offers.

Finance remains a popular destination for MFA graduates, with 88% of graduates accepting a role in the sector. Consulting is the dominant employer for MiM graduates, with 47% of graduates accepting a consulting role and 32% moving into finance. Technology is the preferred employer for MAM graduates, with 41% of graduates taking up a role in the sector and 37% moving into a role in consulting.

Graham Hastie, Associate Dean of Degree Education at LBS, said the cross-sectoral demand for LBS Graduate Masters students demonstrated the high calibre of its graduates.

“An overall rate of 92% of students across all Graduate Masters programmes receiving a job offer within three months of graduation is a very pleasing result given the current downturn in the global jobs market. The UK remains an attractive market with 58% of MAM graduates, 56% of MFA graduates and 47% of MiM graduates choosing to start their careers in the UK, although our graduates secured opportunities globally.

“LBS continues to enjoy a unique advantage in offering students the opportunity to network face-to-face with prospective employers and industry specialists across a wide range of sectors. These opportunities, coupled with the world-class education that they receive, equip our students to pursue their ambitious career goals with greater confidence despite the more challenging employment market.”
