Amina Taher joins Etihad Airways

A London Business School alumna has been appointed new head of media relations at Etihad Airways.

Amina Taher, who holds a Masters in Business Administration from London Business School, will be responsible for all aspects of the Abu Dhabi-based airline's expanding media relations programme.

She joins the award-winning Corporate Affairs department with more than 10 years' experience in the field of marketing and communications.

"Etihad Airways is recognised as one of the region's most dynamic and exciting companies to work for," said Ms Taher. "I'm delighted to join the department charged with communicating this story to a global media audience."

She most recently held the position of head of Social Development and Sponsorship at the Mubadala Development Company, having previously worked in an executive director role at Zabeel Investments.

Before successfully completing her MBA, Ms Taher graduated with honours from the Higher Colleges of Technology in Dubai with a Bachelor's degree in Applied Media Studies.
