Alumna named WEF young leader
Nerissa Naidu, a graduate of London Business School’s Senior Executive Programme, has been selected as a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum (WEF). Every year, the WEF seeks out “change makers with the grit, foresight and potential to improve the state of the world”.
The Forum of Young Global Leaders (YGL), the World Economic Forum’s foundation for remarkable leaders under 40, aims to foster collaboration and develop new models of leadership. YGL members, who reflect global diversity, are chosen because they innovate to promote public interest and champion public-private cooperation. Members are invited to join a five-year collaborative program that builds on their achievements.
"I feel honoured to have been selected along with an esteemed group of young leaders,” said Naidu. “I embrace the challenge of striving to create a meaningful, positive impact in the world."
Apart from her work with the WEF, Nerissa is an independent board member of Nottx, a firm engaged in promoting diversity by using anonymous hiring software, and Fennech, an intelligent cash management Fintech startup. Previously, she was the Global Head of Strategy at AIG and an Executive Board Member for four of its subsidiaries.
