Zoë Lang

Education: Bachelors, The University of Western Ontario, Canada; graduated in 2025

Subject: Health Science with a specialisation in Rehabilitative Sciences

Sector(s) of interest: Consulting, Entrepreneurship, Luxury, Startups

My greatest challenge when I applied to business school: Taking the GMAT with little time for preparation.

About me: My name is Zoë and I’m a Canadian student currently pursuing the MiM programme after my undergraduate degree in health sciences. While my original aim was to become a medical practitioner, my work experiences exposed me to the business side of healthcare and strategy work, which aligned with my natural strengths. Now, I am exploring opportunities in consulting, as well as strategy roles within the healthcare and luxury/consumer goods sectors.

Outside of academics, I love to engage in group environments, whether through sports, student clubs or socialising. One of the things I value most about the London Business School community is being surrounded by peers with such diverse backgrounds and perspectives.

Having transitioned from a scientific background into business myself, I would love to connect with anyone considering a similar path or figuring out how to leverage a non-traditional academic background into a career in business.

Three topics I can be approached about: Canadian/North American perspective; atypical undergraduate backgrounds; why London Business School was the right choice.
