Yitao (Jessica) Yang (she/her)

Previous degree: Bachelors in Finance, Lancaster University, UK

Finance sector pre-MiF: Wealth and Asset Management

Current role: Financial Performance Analyst, Gingko Tree Investment Ltd

About me:

I began my career in EY’s wealth and asset management audit practice in London, where I earned my UK accountancy qualification, and later joined a Chinese sovereign wealth fund focused on real assets. These experiences sparked my interest in moving to the front office and building a long-term career in private markets.

I’m now pursuing the MiFPT programme at LBS to deepen my technical toolkit through core and elective courses and to learn directly from practitioners via clubs and events.

I bring a multicultural perspective, having lived, studied and worked across Asia and Europe. I enjoy bridging cultures and viewpoints on teams. At LBS, I’m actively engaged with student clubs and the alumni community, which I’ve found invaluable for practical insights and mentorship. I am learning a great deal from my cohort and peers across other programmes.

Three topics I can be approached about: Studying for the MiF; balancing work and study; navigating private markets in a global context.
