My greatest challenge when I applied to business school: Getting my main message across in my essays and interview.
About me: Before joining London Business School, I studied French language and literature at Zhejiang University in China. I enjoyed expressing myself in another language and discovering a different culture along the way. However, as I explored language further, I found I became increasingly interested in how my communication skills could be applied in other fields and create value beyond language itself.
My internships in the automotive and technology, media and telecommunications (TMT) sectors introduced me to the world of business, where I developed a particular interest in consumer insights and marketing strategy. These experiences inspired me to combine my communication strengths with commercial thinking and pursue a career in the consumer goods industry, contributing to strategic marketing decisions.
Outside of academics and career exploration, I enjoy photography and fitness. I love feeling inspired by my career path and staying curious and energised through my hobbies.
Three topics I can be approached about: Diverse career paths; pivoting from an arts background; application advice.
