About me: I left the British Army six months ago after eight fulfilling years with the Coldstream Guards and 16 Air Assault Brigade. While I loved the challenge and sense of purpose that came with military life, I felt ready to apply my leadership and problem-solving skills in a new context. One of the highlights of my service was deploying to Zambia on a counter-poaching mission, which sparked a lasting interest in conservation and sustainability.
The MBA programme at LBS offers the perfect platform to explore different industries, learn from a world-class faculty and build a global network beyond defence. For many people leaving the military, the transition can be a daunting prospect, but I see the MBA as an exciting opportunity to redefine my career direction. I’m particularly interested in management consulting, as it provides exposure to a wide range of sectors and complex projects while developing a strong commercial foundation that I hope to apply to future conservation-focused work.
Outside the classroom, I enjoy staying active and spending time outdoors. I regularly use the LBS gym and am a member of the Expedition Club, where I look forward to joining future treks and challenges.
Three topics I can be approached about: Military transition; consulting; living in London.
