My greatest challenge when I applied to business school: Balancing the GRE with a full-time job and a startup.
About me: I was born and raised in Nigeria, and moved to the UK for my bachelors with the initial intention of applying it towards Nigeria’s infrastructural development. My interest in finance was sparked by a project management internship, where I found myself more drawn to how projects were financed than the technical design behind them.
In my final year, I decided to pursue this interest and leaned on organisations such as SEO London and Rare Recruitment for training and exposure to the industry. Since then, I have held a growth equity role within the CFO office at Liberty Global, an investment banking internship at J.P. Morgan, and an infrastructure investment internship at Nigeria’s Sovereign Wealth Fund, alongside building a B2B financial infrastructure startup.
Outside of work, I have a keen interest in philanthropy, infrastructure, Formula 1 (Red Bull) and Football (FC Barcelona!).
Three topics I can be approached about: The London Business School application and experience; investment banking and private equity applications; entrepreneurship.
