My greatest challenge when I applied to business school: Balancing GMAT preparation, masters applications, regular school work, internship search, social life, thesis write-up and interviews.
About me: Born in Luxembourg to immigrant parents, I have been immersed in multicultural environments from early on in my life. It has allowed me to be fluent in six languages and to live in five countries, which has shaped who I am today.
I have always aimed to broaden my horizons, so before LBS, I earned a bachelors from ESCP, studying in three different countries and learning about the importance of intercultural skills, equality and diversity. The latter has not been limited to academia. In my career, I have been fortunate to accumulate experiences across an array of financial institutions, such as central banks, private banks and investment banks, making me a well-rounded professional.
As a queer man in finance, I am particularly grateful for the support from LBS, which has empowered me to thrive in a field where diversity is increasingly recognised as a strength.
Nowadays, I am fortunate to bring a global perspective to everything I do. To tackle our societal differences and inequalities, I fundamentally believe we must better connect people and build bridges and roads, not walls. That is why my long-term goal is to build a career in infrastructure and real estate.
Three topics I can be approached about: Diversity and inclusion with a focus on LGBTQ+; interview and recruitment best practices; living in London.
