My greatest challenge when I applied to business school: Asymmetric information.
About me: Everyone’s route to London Business School is unique. Mine involved an economics degree at the University of Lincoln, a fair number of delivery shifts in my 2010 Renault Clio, and probably more extracurricular projects than was sensible.
During my undergraduate degree, I graduated first in my cohort, served as president of the Economics Society, founded LIBS-Race, led an alumni careers initiative, and even found time to play some darts. I’m now studying the MiM programme as a 93% Club scholar, pursuing a career in consulting.
I’ve always enjoyed bringing people together and making the most of whatever I’m involved in. I enjoyed captaining my football team, organising university sports events, and I intend to be an active member of the Run Club, which seems fitting!
Outside academics, I’m a Wolverhampton Wanderers supporter. Despite being born in the north east of England, my dad’s West Midlands roots overcame any potential draw of the Toon.
Coming from a state-school background, I’m particularly keen to help prospective students who might not have considered a place like London Business School as within their reach. Whether you’re curious about applications, scholarships, life in London on a budget or anything else, please reach out!
Three topics I can be approached about: London Business School on a budget; how to make the most of opportunities; peaky profiles.
