My greatest challenge when I applied to business school: Addressing certain gaps in my application.
About me: I was born and raised in Senegal. After high school, I moved to the UK to pursue further education at the University of Leeds. Upon completing my degree, I interned for a year at an asset management company in London, gaining valuable experience while living in a dynamic city.
Fluent in English, French and Wolof, with intermediate proficiency in Spanish and currently learning Arabic, I have developed a strong multicultural mindset. My passion for cultural exploration is reflected in my love for travel. I have visited multiple cities worldwide, enriching my understanding of diverse communities and their histories.
As a first-generation student, I am eager to continue my journey of learning and growth, driven by a desire to connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds and embrace new experiences. This motivation led me to join LBS, where I can further expand my global perspective and professional skills.
Three topics I can be approached for: Application process; venture capital; early careers in the UK.
