My greatest challenge when I applied to business school: Achieving the GMAT score that I was aiming for.

About me: I grew up without a clear vision for my future and often felt pressured to define a career aspiration early on. Attending an international school on Jeju Island, South Korea, with a parent school based in the UK, I studied the international baccalaureate (IB). It was there that I first developed an interest in economics, seeing it as a pathway to financial knowledge and career opportunities.

This interest led me to pursue an undergraduate degree in Economics at UCL. However, I discovered that the focus on abstract theory did not match my expectations. Seeking more practical and applied education, I began exploring opportunities beyond my undergraduate degree, which ultimately led me to the MiM programme at LBS with its emphasis on hands-on, experience-driven learning.

While at UCL, I interned at Global Sae-A, a multinational expanding beyond apparel into food and housing. With my interest in fashion, I worked on projects for its fashion subsidiary, conducting competitor analysis on over 50 brands and presenting insights to senior management. This experience sharpened my curiosity about corporate inefficiencies and how organisations address them an interest I am eager to pursue further at LBS and throughout my career.

Three topics I can be approached about: Consulting; life in London/South Korea; running/gym.
