My greatest challenge when I applied to business school was: GMAT

About me: I am Turkish, British and Portuguese, and I grew up in Istanbul, Turkey. I relocated to Vienna for my undergraduate studies, where I did the Business and Economics degree at Vienna University of Economics and Business. Alongside my studies, I concluded internships in consulting at PwC Advisory in Vienna and in finance at a boutique investment bank. In the future, I am ambitious about having a career in strategy consulting. On the personal side, I skied professionally for ten years, becoming a member of the Turkish National Team. I currently play tennis, run and do yoga to keep myself active. Moreover, I have been an advocate of multiple charities and most prominently, I took over both organisational and voluntary roles at Young Global ImpAct (YGA) charity, which aims to shrink the STEM education gap among children, for eight months during my gap year. I am just at the beginning of my time at LBS, but the community, faculty and the international environment have already exceeded my expectations. LBS's vibrant atmosphere, student clubs, and global setting set the stage for a transformative educational experience. In my academic year, I will join the Women in Business, Consulting and Snow Clubs.

Three topics I can be approached about: Living in London, consulting applications, LBS community
