About me: Saagar has lived in Amsterdam and London and spent a year studying in the US. He moved to London in 2012 to pursue a degree in Computer Science at University College London. Since 2016, he has worked in the commodities trading industry in technical and analytical roles. Most recently he worked as an oil-focused quantitative analyst at the global commodities merchant Castleton Commodities International.
Saagar sees the MBA as a unique opportunity to build on his analytical skills and solve problems in new business areas. He is hugely passionate about developments in technology and is keen to pivot into product management within fintech, e-commerce, or logistics. Saagar is the Vice President for Product Careers & Skills at the Tech & Media Club where he is helping build a mentoring-based training programme for MBA students interested in product management.
He chose LBS because he wanted to be in a challenging environment alongside a diverse and ambitious cohort.
In his free time, Saagar loves exploring the electronic music scene in London. He enjoys cycling and reading mystery novels, and follows MotoGP and the Premier League.
