About me: After earning a bachelors degree in Accounting from UFRGS and an MBA with a specialisation in Financial Management from FGV, I have established myself as an experienced finance professional and a Certified Public Accountant and Independent Auditor. I am currently a part-time Masters in Finance student at LBS.
My current role at Visa involves executing complex audit projects and advisory services that cover all aspects of Visa’s operations. My expertise spans audit management, stakeholder engagement, issue tracking and resolution, and preparing and presenting reports to senior leadership.
With over eight years of experience in audit, accounting and finance, I have held senior roles at PwC in both the UK and Brazil, working with diverse clients across multiple industries. I have also served as an Internal Auditor at OVO Energy, a major UK energy firm, where I provided assurance and advisory services within the energy sector.
Additionally, as part of the Visa Generative AI Community, I actively participate in discussions to enhance performance and share insights to accelerate the adoption of Generative AI solutions. My role as a GenAI Champion and Ambassador allows me to interact with a diverse group of professionals and contribute to Visa’s continuous growth and development in the AI space.
Envisioning advancing my career in strategy or as a business line CFO in the mid to long term, the Masters in Finance serves as ideal preparation for these potential roles. My commitment to maintaining a fresh, agile mindset and lifelong learning aligns perfectly with what the Masters in Finance offers. In the longer term, I plan to take on supervisory board mandates, where the LBS network can be an important cornerstone.
Aside from my professional experience, I aim to contribute to the LBS community with my energy, positive can-do attitude and open-mindedness. I enjoy sharing and discussing viewpoints from a broad range of cultural and technical backgrounds. I look forward to broadening my LBS network by fulfilling my ambassador role.
Three topics I can be approached about: Application process; life at LBS; payments sector.
