Phoebe Anderson

Phoebe was born in Toronto, Canada and raised in New York. She graduated from Brown University with a concentration in Urban Studies. After Brown, Phoebe joined 'Teach for America' where she taught sixth grade math and social studies in the Bronx, NY. She then worked in publishing in Boston, MA before moving to work at Harvard Business School for her most recent role in programme management. She worked alongside top faculty in the creation and implementation of the FIELD course (Field Immersion Experiences for Leadership Development). Phoebe is a competitive squash player and is Co-President of the LBS Squash Club. She is also a member of the Women's Touch Rugby Club. In her first year at LBS, Phoebe worked on an Impact Consulting Club project with a women’s homeless shelter in London, travelling to Ghana over the spring break with the Volunteers Club where they worked with micro-entreprenuers in a rural coastal village. For her summer internship she worked at an EdTech startup called Tutorfair, and her second internship is with a South African non-profit called Business Bridge. She loves the diversity of the MBA class and the opportunity to learn business in such an international city. After graduation, Phoebe plans to work in the social impact sector with an emphasis on education and community development.
