About me: My pre-MBA experience can be summarised in two words: a consumer strategist and a women’s empowerment advocate.
Professionally, I have spent six years working on solving business problems through a consumer lens in marketing and innovation practices in the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry. This experience taught me how to ask the right questions, how to think creatively with data and how to craft relevant stories that deliver value to others.
Beyond the workplace, my heart lies in empowering others, particularly women and first-generation college students. As the first in my family to pursue higher education, I understand the power of encouragement and support. That’s why I dedicate my time to mentoring, helping students not only navigate their career paths but also believe in the bigger opportunities available to them through education and perseverance.
I decided to pursue an MBA at LBS to broaden my understanding of strategic management while exposing myself to global perspectives in the diverse environment at LBS. Being a proud recipient of the Laidlaw scholarship, I also want to promote diversity and inclusion during my time in LBS. This led to my decision to join the Executive Committee of the Asia Club and First-Generation, Low or Intermediate Income Club.
Three topics I can be approached for: Consumer packaged goods; inclusivity at LBS; business school through a first-generation student’s perspective.
