Michael has a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy, Politics & Economics from the University of Oxford. After his undergraduate degree, he worked for three years’ as a consultant for McKinsey & Company. It was here that Michael worked on a wide range of projects across the UK, Europe and West Africa. His experience working with private equity investors, governments, businesses and international development organisations led Michael to join CDC Group - the UK’s development finance institution. He works in the consumer direct equity team, focusing on private equity investments in healthcare, education, tech and consumer retail in Africa and South Asia.
Michael joined the part-time Masters in Finance (MiF) programme at London Business School (LBS) to deepen his technical financial knowledge and study alongside the School's diverse, international student body. Beyond the classroom, Michael is involved in the India and Africa Clubs and looks forward to attending LBS’s wide-ranging speaker series and conference events. Michael is a recipient of the LBS 50th Anniversary Scholarship.
