Maximilian Luther

Education: Bachelors, ESB Business School and Avans University, Germany and Netherlands; graduated in 2023

Subject: International Business and International Management

Sector(s) of interest: Consulting, FMCG, Sports Management

My greatest challenge when I applied to business school: Structuring my application plan, collecting all deadlines and finding out the best timing for my GMAT and TOEFL.

About me: Whether it was an exchange programme to China in high school, six months in Australia and New Zealand before my bachelors or my wish to do a double degree programme during my undergraduate study, I’ve always had a global mindset and interest in cultural exchange. Not only did I spend two years living and studying in the Netherlands and two years in Germany, but I was also awarded two bachelors degrees and met fascinating people along the way. Most importantly though, I learnt to appreciate a very hands-on approach to learning. Looking back, that played an important role in both my professional and personal development.

When I started researching masters degrees that would open up doors for me, it was clear I wanted to study abroad. In business, there are barely any boundaries and I wanted to travel, expand my network and meet people from around the world. The LBS Masters in Management caught my attention immediately as the programme content is similar to an MBA and has a strong focus on real-life application.

Three topics I can be approached for: Consulting or experience in FMCG; moving and living abroad (UK, Netherlands, etc); sports.
