My greatest challenge when I applied to business school: Figuring out a short- and medium-term career path.
About me: I was born and raised in Bulgaria. My passion for multiculturalism and community involvement began early, leading me to actively participate in Leo Clubs (Lions International) from the age of nine, both locally and internationally.
Meeting new people and exploring diverse cultures has always fascinated me and I knew I wanted an international lifestyle. I pursued my undergraduate studies in Italy, where I also learnt Italian, and later took an exchange semester in Argentina, immersing myself in South American culture and honing my Spanish. I am now further exploring my multicultural interests at LBS.
I’ve always had a strong interest in economics and the interconnectedness of global markets. After my exchange, I gained valuable work experience in Bulgaria and Poland. During my studies, I developed a deep appreciation for investment funds and portfolio management. Combining my love for macroeconomics and markets and my strengths in critical thinking and communication skills honed through various roles—I’ve set my sights on a career in asset management.
In my free time, I enjoy visiting art exhibitions, finding new matcha spots and trying out restaurants with international cuisine. I love spending quality time with friends and continuously fuelling my curiosity about the world.
Three topics I can be approached about: Student life and culture; Women in Business; Investment Management Club.
