About me: I am a Laidlaw Scholar and bring over five years of diverse experience spanning both the private and public sectors. Prior to pursuing the MBA, I served as a Manager at the Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India. In this role, I spearheaded impactful advisory projects on deep tech and innovation, with a focus on critical issues such as climate change, humanitarian response and national security. I played a key role in sourcing, evaluating and field-testing over 50 tech startups and my work took me across India, from the Himalayan regions in the north to the riverbanks in the south, including military zones. I was also instrumental in co-drafting India’s Deep Tech Startup Policy, which resulted in a proposed one trillion-rupee fund to support deep tech startups.
Prior to my work in the public sector, I gained significant experience in finance, working as a trader at Kristal.ai, a Singapore-based fintech startup. My expertise includes algorithmic trading, trade execution and financial analysis. In 2019, I was awarded the Young India Fellowship, where I launched a social impact initiative focused on financial inclusion.
I am passionate about leveraging my diverse experiences to work at the intersection of technology, finance and impact, helping impactful startups scale and capture value. In my spare time, I love travelling, theatre, reading philosophy and spending time with my dog, Zorro.
Three topics I can be approached for: Impact investing; deep technology; Women in Business.
