Julian Drago (he/him)
- Programme: Masters in Finance Full-time
- Nationality: Maltese
Previous degree: Bachelors in Banking and Finance and Insurance, University of Malta
Finance sector pre-MiF: Transactions, Corporate Finance
Previous or current role: Senior Consultant, EY-Parthenon
About me: I began my career as a financial and business analyst at a Nasdaq-listed technology startup before joining the transactions and corporate finance department at EY-Parthenon as part of the valuation, modelling and economics team.
Alongside work, I studied for the CFA Program and earned the CFA Charter in 2024. My experience exposed me to the strategic side of finance, sparking my desire to advance my career in corporate finance at LBS, with the goal of sharpening my technical skills and broadening my professional network.
Although I have collaborated with international colleagues and clients, I spent my career prior to LBS in my home country of Malta. The LBS experience thus far has been invaluable in broadening my global perspective and I continue to learn from my diverse cohort.
Three topics I can be approached about: Insights about the MiF; coming from an unconventional background; the CFA Program.
