About me: I’m a development finance professional and MBA candidate at LBS. Alongside my studies, I continue my work with The World Bank, where I contribute to the International Development Association’s Private Sector Window, mobilising private investment into frontier and emerging markets.
After receiving my second consecutive Finance Partner's Award, I've chosen to extend my work at the Bank through June 2026 to lead the adoption of new streamlined governance and enhanced investment frameworks for the 3-year IDA21 cycle that started in July 2025.
At LBS, I serve as community representative for the inaugural One-year MBA cohort and as sponsorships officer for the Student Association. Representing my cohort allows me to strengthen student wellbeing, build cohesion across a fast-paced programme, and ensure that every voice feels heard and supported. These roles allow me to strengthen connections between students, industry partners and the wider London community through impactful initiatives and events.
My professional focus lies in catalysing private capital for development, bridging the gap between global investors and local entrepreneurs. After my MBA, I aspire to build a career in venture capital, investing in early-stage, high-potential ventures across emerging markets, or continue to contribute to the development of innovative financial instruments, supporting finance at an institutional level.
I believe that expanding access to risk-tolerant, mission-aligned capital is one of the most powerful ways to foster homegrown growth, create sustainable jobs, and enable equitable development that benefits local populations. Driven by curiosity, collaboration, and purpose, I’m passionate about unlocking opportunities where finance can serve as a force for lasting, inclusive progress.
Three topics I can be approached about: Executive committee roles; pursuing a career in multilateral organisations & development finance; why choose the One-year MBA.
