About me: I’m a development finance professional and MBA candidate at LBS. Alongside my studies, I continue my work with The World Bank, where I contribute to the International Development Association’s Private Sector Window, mobilising private investment into frontier and emerging markets.
At LBS, I serve as community representative for the inaugural One-year MBA cohort and as sponsorships officer for the Student Association. These roles allow me to strengthen connections between students, industry partners and the wider London community through impactful initiatives and events.
My professional focus lies in catalysing private capital for development, bridging the gap between global investors and local entrepreneurs. After my MBA, I aspire to build a career in private equity or venture capital, investing in high-potential ventures across emerging markets, with a particular emphasis on Africa. I believe that expanding access to capital is one of the most powerful ways to foster homegrown growth, create sustainable jobs, and enable equitable development that benefits local populations.
Driven by curiosity, collaboration and purpose, I’m passionate about unlocking opportunities where finance can serve as a force for lasting, inclusive progress.
Three topics I can be approached about: Executive committee roles; pursuing a private equity career; why choose the One-year MBA.
