My greatest challenge when I applied to business school: Balancing work and GMAT preparation.
About me: Born and raised in Hong Kong, I graduated from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology with a major in Global Business. For half a year during my undergraduate studies, I participated in an academic exchange in the US. During my university studies, I gained work experience in research, charities and banking. This exposure to various industries has enabled me to discover my interest in finance. I am passionate about understanding the interconnections between macroeconomics and the financial markets.
Beyond academics and work, I also dedicate time to volunteering and playing sports. For example, I have conducted home visits for the elderly in Hong Kong and volunteered as a teacher for orphans and young people in Cambodia. For sports, I love swimming and working out at the gym. Driven by curiosity about different cultures, I also enjoy exploring hidden gems around the world.
