About me: After graduating, I joined the engineering and consulting services firm Aurecon as a Structural Engineer on the design and construction teams for some of Australia’s largest projects. Passionate about the business strategy underlying the industry, I transitioned into a management consulting role in Aurecon’s asset management group.
I then joined the founding team building the space technology startup VXB Aerospace. Over the past two years in my role as Head of Strategy and Business Development, I have been a jack-of-all-trades in a highly technical team. I directed marketing and industry analysis, harmonised VXB’s business model with customer insights, grew partnerships and pitched top-tier investors for seed funding. I taught entrepreneurship as part of the ‘Speculative Startup’ subject at UTS, sharing lessons from VXB with students interested in launching ventures.
At LBS, I am interested in connecting deep tech focused MBAs with STEM PhDs as part of a push to boost industry-wide commercialisation of cutting-edge research through new ventures.
My other interests include bouldering, running and travelling.
