About me: I am a highly motivated finance professional with nearly a decade of experience in progressively senior roles within the Nigerian financial sector. My career has seen a steady trajectory of growth, beginning as a Junior Finance Analyst at Dangote Oil Refinery in 2017 to my most recent role as a Senior Finance Associate at the Nigeria Sovereign Investment Authority (NSIA). I am currently expanding my expertise by pursuing a Masters in Finance at the prestigious London Business School.

My strong educational foundation has been critical to my career success. I hold a BSc in Accounting and Finance from Oxford Brookes University and an MBA in Finance and Investment from Ahmadu Bello University. Additionally, I am an ACCA Fellow, having received national and global recognition for my achievements in Corporate Reporting and Advanced Financial Management—demonstrating my ongoing commitment to professional growth.

A substantial portion of my career has been dedicated to investment management, especially within sovereign wealth funds. Beyond investment management, I possess a strong command of core financial competencies such as financial analysis, budgeting, risk management and reporting. I have consistently optimised financial operations, reduced costs, effectively allocated resources and contributed to strategic financial planning throughout my career.

Leadership and a commitment to social impact are also at the core of who I am. I founded the Tahani Foundation, which empowers women through financial literacy workshops, and am passionate about using my financial knowledge and skills to make a positive impact. At LBS, I continue my passion for social impact by supporting minority communities and holding leadership roles across various clubs, including as CFO of the Social Impact Club and VP of Fundraising for the Africa Business Club.

After LBS, I aim to pursue opportunities in investment management, development finance and sustainable finance, where I can leverage my experience and education to make a meaningful impact.

Three topics I can be approached about: Emerging Market Sovereign Wealth Funds; social impact projects; sustainable finance initiatives.
