About me: I am originally from Spain, where I studied Engineering for my undergraduate degree at the University of Oviedo. Shortly after, I moved to the UK to complete my engineering studies and pursue a career in the energy industry. Since then, I have worked at a major company in the industry, starting in a technical role as a Reservoir Engineer, developing models and production strategies for mature oil and gas fields. I then transitioned to in-house strategy and business consulting, where I gained a broader vision of the business.
I decided to pursue an MBA to strengthen my strategic thinking and leadership skills.
As a first-generation university student with a non-traditional MBA background, I’m happy to help candidates with similar experiences understand and demystify the application process. Additionally, I can support those looking to transition from technical to business roles.
Beyond academics, I am incredibly passionate about skiing and traveling. Some of my recent destinations include Lebanon, Georgia, Armenia, Japan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan.
Three topics I can be approached for: Energy; first-generation student; MBA from a non-business background.
