My greatest challenge when I applied to business school: Navigating the pressure associated with the risk of only applying to one programme, as LBS was my sole application.
About me: I grew up in Portsmouth, UK. I joined LBS to work with and learn from people from all over the world as I prepare for an international career.
Before LBS, I studied Finance and Accounting at the University of Nottingham, where I managed the emerging markets portfolio at one of the UK’s largest student investment funds. I also gained professional experience across asset and wealth management and investment banking, while maintaining a long-standing interest in entrepreneurship, having launched my first business at 13.
Outside of academics and work, I’ve won regional amateur boxing titles in the UK. I enjoy running and padel to stay fit and I’m improving my conversational German.
As a first-generation student, I’m also keen to help encourage applications from students with similar backgrounds and to raise awareness of the LBS graduate masters among UK undergraduates.
