My greatest challenge when I applied to business school: Understanding if the community would be a great fit for me, which is definitely the case at London Business School. Also, learning about all the different resources available to me.

About me: I’m originally from Belgium, but I’ve always been drawn to international environments. Before joining the MAM programme at London Business School, I spent four years in Barcelona completing my undergraduate degree at Esade Business School, including a semester abroad at the Wharton School in Philadelphia in the US. Living and studying in different countries has definitely shaped me. I love meeting people with completely different backgrounds and ambitions as it shows me so many new perspectives to view the world from!

Academically and professionally, I’m particularly interested in investment, strategy and understanding how businesses make decisions. At Esade, I also worked as a tutor and coordinator of the maths association, which became one of my favourite parts of university because I genuinely loved helping other students and being involved in the wider community.

Outside class, you’ll usually find me hanging out with my friends, reading, following the investment world, doing something fashion-related, or discovering somewhere new in London. I chose London Business School not only for the MAM programme, but also for its incredibly international community and the chance to build a life in my favourite city.

If you have questions about the MAM programme, applications, scholarships, moving to London or what student life is actually like, please reach out – I’m always happy to chat!

Three topics I can be approached about: Learning about the community; time management; academic help in quantitative subjects.
