My greatest challenge when I applied to business school: Preparing for the GMAT.
About me: Hi, I’m Lena and I am originally from Russia. I completed my bachelors degree in international economics and finance, majoring in finance, at Bocconi University, Italy. I am now pursuing the MiM programme at London Business School.
Studying at London Business School and living in London had long been a dream of mine, and I am excited to make the most of every opportunity. I am also honoured to be a recipient of the Stolyarenko Scholarship.
Before joining London Business School, I gained experience in banking and financial audit at UniCredit, Raiffeisen Bank International and Forvis Mazars. I also volunteered at the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic Winter Games and supported the main stage at Italian Tech Week, working with speakers including Sam Altman, CEO of OpenAI.
Outside my studies, I love meeting people, travelling and trying new hobbies. I also enjoy skiing, running, painting and playing the piano.
Looking ahead, I hope to build my career in London and am exploring opportunities in consulting and investment banking.
I am always happy to help, so please feel free to reach out with any questions about London Business School or the MiM programme experience!
Three topics I can be approached about: Finance; the arts; piano.
