My greatest challenge when I applied to business school: Choosing a programme that would best align with my career goals.
About me: Born and brought up in India, I’ve always been drawn to global experiences, having been fortunate to pursue my undergraduate degree in Economics at UCL. There, I took on leadership roles in various societies, where I spearheaded initiatives to raise awareness about ESG and fostered strong alumni connections.
My passion for financial services and strategy led me to explore work experience internships in diverse roles such as banking at J. P. Morgan and consulting at LSC. These experiences shaped my interest in helping companies make transformational decisions, which aligns with my long-term goal of working in investments.
As a Masters in Financial Analysis student, I am excited to explore the intersection of finance and strategy and gain further insights into IBD and management. While the programme is rigorous, my advice for prospective students is to lean into the diverse opportunities LBS offers—whether through leadership roles, clubs or networking events.
LBS’s emphasis on global perspectives has already made a significant impact on how I approach business and strategy and I am eager to contribute to this vibrant community.
Three topics I can be approached about: Life in London; navigating internships in finance; balancing social and work life at university.
